Tips to decrease soda intake
- Wean yourself off slowly: If you typically drink multiple servings of soda a day, cut it back to one a day. Give that two weeks, then switch to three sodas a week
- Mix it with water
- Start tracking your calories if you usually consume regular soda
- Think about how much exercise it would take to burn the calories from soda
- Switch to unsweetened tea
- Drink a glass of water first
- Steer clear of soda triggers like certain places or situations
- Save it for special occasions
