Tips to choose a healthy salad dressing
- Save creamy dressings like ranch and Caesar sauce for special occasions
- Choose healthy fats like vegetable oils (olive and canola oil…) that can improve heart healthy and make you feel full longer
- The first 3 ingredients should be oil, water and vinegar. Mustard lemon is a good option too
- Always order your sauce aside
- Drizzle don’t drench! Even if you pick the healthiest salad dressing, using too much of it will load your salad with calories
