It is true that the sun provides us with Vitamin D, but it also causes sunburn when we are exposed to it excessively.
Sunscreens aid in the protection of the skin from the outside in, yet certain foods that you consume have the capacity in protecting your skin from the inside out.

Here is a list of foods which can protect you from sunburn because of their high content of substances which act as antioxidants & UV protectors.
•Citrus fruits like lemons, oranges and grapefruits are rich in vitamin C
•Carrots & tomatoes are rich in beta-carotene
•Strawberries, watermelon and pomegranates are rich in vitamin C
•Green leafy veggies like lettuce, spinach and broccoli are rich in vitamin C
•Salmon are rich in omega-3
•Raw nuts, avocado and healthy oils like olive oil and canola oil are rich in vitamin E
